Marketing’scompletelywild.Let me rein it in.
My name is Claire and I build the email, content, SEO and AI-enabled systems that turn complicated expertise into an audience. Then I get that audience to move.
No smoke. Just signals.
The work is creative.
The proof is in the numbers.
I’m at my most comfortable where the subject is dense and the stakes are real, and where the audience needs an actual reason to care. Here’s what that’s looked like in practice.
Consistent email open rate, with a 7% click-through rate on lead CTAs.
Email engagementIncrease in lead conversions after the email and content program matured.
Business impactFaster production using AI-integrated research and metadata workflows.
Operational speedWeekly page views, up from 50K, across 300+ optimized articles and pages.
Organic growthCost per click on Meta campaigns for independent publishing.

Big claims are boring. Open a file and you’ll get the problem, the moves I made, and the number that changed because of them.
Built an audience people actually opened.
A national VA disability law firm needed trustworthy content at scale, not generic “legal marketing.”
Turned tax complexity into a content engine.
SEO, newsletter strategy, segmentation and smarter workflows, all built to make IRS topics actually useful.
Built multiple brands from a blank page.
Books, audio, ads and six lists across multiple pen names. A proving ground I own outright.
Shipped seven hours of training in five days.
When the business needed a major resource immediately, I designed and delivered without the usual drag.

Hi —
Here’s the Mid-Year Tax Checklist you came for. Sixteen items, most take under ten minutes, and number four is the one people miss.
Every Thursday I send one tax question a real client asked me that week, and the answer in plain English. That’s the whole newsletter. No market recaps. No webinar invites.
If the checklist turns up something specific about your own return, hit reply. I read every one.

Red pen log
- The subject line is a receipt“Welcome to the newsletter” tells the reader something they already know, because they just hit subscribe. There’s nothing in it to open. Put the delivery in the subject line and the open follows.
- Paragraph two is about the companyNobody hands over an email address to learn a founding year. The reader arrived with a problem. Every sentence spent on your credentials is a sentence not spent on theirs.
- Fourteen asks, one emailFive content promises, four social platforms, five actions. A welcome email gets one job. Everything else is a later email, or it’s nothing.
- The thing they signed up for isn’t in hereThis is the expensive one. A welcome email runs two to three times the list’s average open rate, and this one spends that on a bio. Deliver in send one or you’ve traded your best moment for a follow button.
Same list. Same offer. Same send. The rebuild just picks one job and finishes it.
What I’d watch: first-week reply rate, and the open rate on send two. Those two numbers tell you whether the list is still alive in ninety days.Send me the one you’re worried about.
Free, and I take a handful a month. I’ll pull it apart the same way, send you the notes, and publish it here with your brand stripped out unless you’d rather I didn’t.
The person under the hat
Part strategist, part builder, part bestselling novelist. I’m at my absolute best when the work is complicated, useful, and somebody needs it moving yesterday.
I’m Claire Szewczyk. For more than a decade, I’ve blended content strategy, SEO, email, paid campaigns and hands-on production for legal, finance, nonprofit and publishing audiences.
I know how to make dense information human. I also know how to build the workflow behind it, so the good work keeps shipping.
Have a complicated thing?
Hand me
the reins.
Bring me the scattered content, the quiet email list, the stalled launch, or the idea nobody’s had time to build. I’ll round it up.
Tell me what’s stuck.
A few sentences is plenty. I’ll come back with what I’d do first and what it would take.
Rather just email? claire.szewczyk@gmail.com
